The
World-Famous NightmareSoccer Bad Boy Bonus
From time to time, a player may be awarded a 25-point Bad Boy Bonus.
These are awarded for players' alleged misbehaviour - usually off-the-field
antics. Bonuses are awarded at the discretion of the Directors of NightmareSoccer
Ltd and their decision in respect of whether a Bad Boy Bonus should be awarded
or not is final.
As an example, a player will probably be awarded a Bad Boy Bonus if he is arrested.
Full
Games
Players must play over 20 minutes to get points that are relevant to a result.
For example, if a goalkeeper plays 15 minutes and lets in 0 goals, he does
not get the -5 for a clean sheet, but he does if he plays 25 mins. If a player
is listed as coming on as a substitute in the 69th minute he has played a
full game (assuming he plays to the end of the match) - if he comes
on in the 70th it counts as a sub game.
The only exception to the "if you're not on the pitch it doesn't count" rule is with players who are sent off. This is because a player's absence is considered to still have an affect on the game.
For example, a defender could play 60 minutes, then get sent off with the score at 0-0. If the match finished 0-0, he would get 10 points for being sent off, but -4 for the clean sheet, however if his team lost 3-0 he would get 10 points for being sent off +4 points for conceding 3 goals, regardless of whether he was on the pitch when the goals were conceded.
Extra
Time and Penalties
Events in extra time work exactly the same as above. However in a penalty
shoot-out, only missed penalties are counted. So for example a player does
get 15 points for missing a penalty, but a penalty converted does not count
as a goal scored, or conceded by the opposition team.
