HOLDERS
The holders of the Champions' League and the Eur'opeless League will qualify to defend their title the following season - unless the Eur'opeless League winning manager qualifies for the Champions' League.

A manager may only have one team from each nation (i.e. one English and one Scottish) qualify for Europe (with the Champions' League taking precedence) and therefore a maximum of two teams in Europe. If a manager does have more than one team eligible for qualification, for example a manager wins two separate divisions, the team with the highest Nightmare points total will take the European place. Let's say for example a manager wins both Donkeys Division Three and Headless Chickens Division Three, and the Donkeys team scored most points... The Donkeys winners would go into the Champions' League, while the Headless Chickens team would not and its Champions' League place would be taken by the team in 2nd in Headless Chickens Division Three. This in turn would allow the team in 3rd in HC Div 3 into the Eur'opeless League Cup.

In addition, a manager may not have more than one team qualify for the Champions' League. If a manager wins a division in both Premiership and SPL, one team will be entered into the Champions' League and one in the Eur'opeless League Cup. Of the two, the team which has performed best will go into the Champions' League, and this will be calculated by working out how much above the average for the competition each team has scored. For example - if the average total in NightmareSoccer Premiership is 500 points and the team has scored 750 points, this is 50% above the average. Meanwhile, let's say the average SPL total is 650 points and the team has scored 950, this is 46% above the average so the Premiership team will take the Champions' League place.
