AND WE'RE OFF
Well what I like about the 'real' season so far is, Norwich lost 4-1 on the opening night and it's enough to keep them two places clear of the relegation zone :-) I reckon they'll be happy with that at the end of the season. Not so happy about West Ham being bottom, but hey it's Brighton next. Oh hang on, they just won 3-0 at Watford. When was the last time Brighton beat anyone by three clear goals in the top division?

NEW MANAGERS SHARE TOP SPOT AFTER WEEK 1
Well done to Marc Snell and Simon Fowles, brand new managers who share top spot after our first full set of fixtures. Actually not so much well done for Simon as he left his team to chance, so has nothing to do with his Nightmare 11's early success - Fowles have three West Ham players among their ranks who notched up 34 of his 36 points between them, but with the likes of Emiliano Martinez (who?) in goal and Diogo Dalot and Sadio Mane in their 11, expect Fowles to fall away fast unless Simon reacts and enters the transfer market early.

Marc's Wat a Team, meanwhile, were missing Shkodran Mustafi and Naby Keita on Week 1 - not such great losses, if Mustafi had played for Arsenal and the result been the same they'd be 3 points worse off. Norwich's Grant Hanley starred as he scored the first Premier League goal of the season - at the wrong end - and went on to score 15 points. It's not for me to suggest really but Marc may want to think about John Stones - and possibly Keita and Tottenham's Ndombele...
